HOURS OF OPERATION
In 1975 the Bay Shore Emergency Food Program first opened its doors to help those in need of food assistance in our community. We are incorporated by the State of New York and IRS as a non profit organization. The Bay Shore Emergency Food Pantry is staffed and administered entirely by volunteers who order, purchase and stock food items for those experiencing a food emergency. Our facility will provide a 3-day supply of food for those individuals in crisis.
Homebound senior citizens, disabled veterans, and individuals with physically debilitating medical conditions may wish to utilize The Harry Chapin Food Bank Mobile Pantry operated by Long Island Cares, Inc. Please contact us via e-mail for more information. We need your support. Please consider becoming a volunteer. If this is not possible perhaps you could lend your support in other ways. Please contact us by email or visit our Brentwood Road location during hours of operation.
